Sales Manager

The Sales Manager will report to General Manager. He/She will be responsible for driving revenue growth by securing wedding and catering bookings. Manages the sales team, develops client relationships, executes marketing strategies, and ensures service excellence aligned with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify, pursue, and close sales leads for Malay weddings, corporate events, private functions, and catering services.
2. Develop the sales budget and implement sales tactics to meet monthly and annual revenue targets.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with wedding planners, event organisers, corporate clients, and venue partners.
4. Lead client consultations, site visits, and proposal negotiations.
5. Oversee the preparation of order confirmation, quotations, and event packages.
6. Coordinate with operations and kitchen teams to ensure service delivery matches client expectations.
7. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales tactics.
8. Manage CRM systems and maintain updated client records and pipelines.
9. Supervise, train, and evaluate performance of the sales team.
10. Represent the company at trade shows, bridal fairs, and networking events.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in events, F&B, hospitality, or weddings, with at least 2 years experience in a managerial role
- Proven track record in B2C and B2B sales
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
- Fluent in English and preferably Malay
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in wedding/event planning or hotel banquet sales
- Familiarity with local wedding and event industry network
- Sales or marketing certification is an advantage
