**Job Summary**:
BYD by 1826 is seeking a highly driven and experienced **Sales Training & Performance Manager**to lead and execute our end-to-end sales training strategy for both BYD and DENZA car sales consultants (SCs). Reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), this role is pivotal in building a high-performing sales force through structured training, continuous evaluation, and ongoing development initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Training & Development**
- Design and deliver structured onboarding programs for new SCs (both BYD and DENZA brands).
- Conduct regular in-person and digital training workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance.
- Maintain updated knowledge on BYD, DENZA, and competitor car models to prepare relevant training content.
2. **Performance Management**
- Develop and implement assessments, quizzes, and practical evaluations to track SC product and sales competency.
- Monitor sales performance and identify SCs requiring additional coaching under the “Personal Improvement Program.”
- Conduct one-on-one and small-group training sessions tailored to performance gaps.
3. **Operational Support**
- Work with Sales Management and CSO to align training with dealership targets and product campaigns.
- Conduct on-the-ground job shadowing, mystery shopping, and call monitoring to ensure quality control.
- Maintain training schedules, feedback records, and performance improvement logs for all SCs.
4. **Market Research**
- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to update SCs on industry trends and competitive advantages.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to translate new product updates into digestible training formats.
**Requirements**:
- At least 5 years of experience in automotive sales or sales training.
- Proven experience in designing and conducting sales training programs.
- Strong understanding of car dealership operations, customer journey, and sales lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills; fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and able to travel between showroom locations.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certification in Sales Training / Learning & Development / Automotive Retail preferred.
