At its core, product marketing at Spenmo starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Spenmo's products solve the world's business problems-from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental day to day process in the account’s payable space. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring to life the product. You are at the center of our entire organization, constantly interacting with teammates, prospects, and customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Be the expert in your industry segment - understand customer needs, define personas and identify our solutions’ key differentiators to facilitate customer uptake.
- Partner closely with the Product Management team, translating the product into end-to-end product marketing initiatives including impactful go-to-market approaches.
- Work closely with sales, product teams and customer success team to develop unique product positioning, key messaging, and value proposition Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders on our product features and their benefits.
- Create marketing programs (e.g. sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts, ) that articulate the benefits of our products
- Conduct market analysis to obtain an understanding of the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiators Create sales collateral and tools that align with the buying process and help move prospects & customers through the sales cycle Assist sales when appropriate to provide deeper dives and insights into the product.
- Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Leadership team to establish individual and team metrics and report on success.
- Create strong value propositions using a range of market insights, competitive research and regional insights to help validate our product positioning to the known customers and uncover growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain product marketing materials like product value kits, webpages and sales enablement materials, focusing on benefits for prospects and customers.
- Facilitate marketing activities needed for the introduction and uptake of a new product across all markets where we are present.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in marketing or related discipline
- Min. 2 years of product marketing, product management, or digital marketing experience, preferably in a similar industry would be a plus points
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with a remote team is an additional bonus
- Ability to develop, organize, and maintain process documentation
- Proven track record of executing successful product launches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to sell ideas well through creative & innovative presentations.
- Exceptional project management skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time to address multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, professional environment
- Metrics-driven and analytical; proven ability to prioritize, drive, and achieve results through self and others under time pressure
