Howie Marketing PTE LTD is a Singapore-registered e-commerce company specializing in women’s fashion. We are a joint venture with the Chinese brand LBZ (Laoban Zhou), committed to providing a comprehensive supply chain service from design to production to sales.
**Job Position : Product Manager**
**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Product Lifecycle Management**:
Oversee the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with market trends. Work closely with design and sourcing teams to meet production deadlines.
- **Product Sourcing & Selection**:
Source and select fashion products in line with current market trends and consumer demand. Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time.
- **Manufacturer Communication**:
Directly communicate with **China-based manufacturers**to discuss product specifications, quality standards, production timelines, and any issues that may arise during the production process. This requires fluency in **Chinese**(both spoken and written) for effective coordination.
- **Market Research & Trend Analysis**:
Conduct regular market research to identify the latest fashion trends, competitor offerings, and consumer preferences. Leverage insights to make data-driven decisions about product development and sourcing.
- **Collaboration with Marketing Team**:
Work closely with the **Marketing Executive**to align product development with marketing campaigns. Assist in positioning products, defining promotional strategies, and ensuring product availability for marketing launches.
- **Inventory & Stock Management**:
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure that products are produced and delivered in time to meet demand. Manage the flow of inventory across multiple channels.
- **Reporting & Analytics**:
Track product performance post-launch, including sales trends and customer feedback. Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations for optimizing product offerings.
- **Bilingual Communication**:
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**:
Minimum of **2 years of experience**in product management, preferably in the fashion industry. Experience with sourcing from China and dealing with manufacturers is a significant advantage.
- **Skills**:
- Proficiency in **English and Chinese**(both spoken and written) to facilitate smooth communication with manufacturers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing product development and timelines.
- Experience in market analysis and trend spotting to drive product selection.
- Good understanding of supply chain and inventory management processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- **Education**:
A degree in **Fashion Management, Business, Marketing**, or a related field is preferred.
