Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Manage team of at dedicated LNG Structurers based in London and Singapore. The LNG Structuring team is a commercial function accountable for the valuation and risk assessment of new complex contracts that takes ownership of the valuation and deal management methodology. The main activity of the Deal Structuring team is close collaboration with Originators to develop term deal opportunities that add value and support growth of the portfolio. Heavy use of portfolio models, option analysis, closed form pricing models, and other bespoke model creation to value complex non liner pricing structures/transactions. Provide an independent view on transactions, with constructive challenge of the deal owner as required and suggest alternative solutions or improvements. Collaborate with originators to create innovative products in response to demand and changing market conditions. As part of the deal team proactively engage with commercial leaders to (re-)structure non-standard transactions during negotiation phase, be creative to suggest alternative solutions and adaption of contract structures. Will also be responsible for change management of transition from analytics derived from conventional Decision Analysts model to newly developed portfolio model. Responsible for ensuring consistency in deal economic evaluations and reporting to key leadership- Senior leader representing the global LNG Origination and Commercial function in the central corporate offices. Will facilitate deal review, reporting and approval processes including up to and including Executive Committee actions as typical with the long-term nature of the LNG Origination and Commercial business- As member of the LNG Origination and Commercial Leadership Team, participate in strategic, organizational, Operational Excellence, and Organizational Capability initiatives. Key thought leader for GM and VP in how to evolve analytics, the LNG portfolio and price reviews across GSAT to support changes and growth in the business- Manage the tracking and maintenance of intelligence on the market, including competitor transactions and pending deals. Provide insights into the interests of potential customers, counterparties, and competitors. Country level and regional comparisons to leverage market dynamics and maximize transaction impact- Ensure alignment between Origination activity and Price Review activity analytics to protect the base while maximizing commercial leverage across the suite of pending opportunities

Required qualifications:- A senior individual who combines the quantitative and analytical skill set of a Deal Structurer with a commercial mindset and the ability to manage a complex stakeholder environment across multiple locations- Heavy use, review and interpretation of portfolio models, option analysis, closed form pricing models, and other bespoke model creation to value complex non liner pricing structures- Exposure to reviewing and wording contractual agreements from a commercial viewpoint- The LNG business works in fast changing and illiquid markets and continuously need to adapt. The role therefore requires an agile, creative mind and strong work ethic to keep pace with the market developments- Commercial and business understanding of LNG, including long-term and short-term aspects- Ability to network globally with disparate parts of the Chevron organization- Ability to manage geographically and culturally diverse teams- Requirement to travel occasionally- Material transactional experience including experience in long-term origination and new business development, especially in LNG
