Senior Executive, Training and Competency

The Training & Competency Team is responsible for the competencies and due diligence monitoring of sales process and supervisory duties of our tied sales force. The Training & Competency (T&C) Team reports to the Head of Distribution Talent Centre, led by a Team Lead.
He/she will be part of the team in driving good practices and ensuring the sales force fulfil the required expectations, in accordance with the company standards in following key areas:
Support in upholding the sales advisory process expectations:
- Upkeep the sales advisory process expectations in accordance with regulatory requirements and company needs.
- Maintain the sales advisory process guide, sales process documentation and training materials
- Prepare and conduct briefings, training to sales force, as needed
Support in enforcing specified **_Training & Competence (T&C) _**regime by offering support on the ground, undertaking field-based inspections and policy enforcement, monitoring of fulfilment of requirements:
- Generate and prepare regular reports for monitoring, tracking and reporting purposes
- Perform in-house CPD hours accreditation of training activities, exemption reviews of licensing examinations
- Support in review and update T&C policies and SOPs accordingly with company, industry and regulators developments
- Support in thematic sales documentation and supervisory duties checks
- prepare audit findings, reports and management updates
- implement initiatives, monitoring processes and conduct constant reviews to improve competency standards of supervisors and advisors
- undertake projects and execute activities assigned to team
**Requirements**:
- At least a diploma and above. Degree preferred.
- At least 2 years' experience in training and competence / compliance audit in Financial Services industry / system enhancement
- Knowledge or experience in life insurance sales processes
- Good understanding of the industry regulations and guidelines eg. FAA and LIA MUs & MCs would be an advantage
- _Have passed ^relevant licensing examination: CMFAS Module 5, 9, 9A, and Certificate in Health Insurance; or equivalents _
- _Has professional qualification in AFC, AFP, ChFC, etc would be an advantage _
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
