**Discipline overview
GAD is the main contact point of the clients at an ad agency. They have deep knowledge about the client and its market, identifying risks and opportunities and designing solutions that are good for the client and the agency.

They’re also passionate about finding solutions, organizing things, have a good knowledge of finance and the timings required to do things and are talented to present and sell ideas to people.
**Expectations of a Group Account Director
- Manages a portfolio of global brands and different global workstreams (you will be supported by a team).
- Hold strategic conversation with senior clients, define key priorities for the account to support growth agenda
- Along with Creative Directors and Strategic Planner, sets strategic approach and creative expression for client account.
- Partners with Senior Planners and with local markets counterparts to enable relevant insight and creative outputs for global campaigns.
- Champion and elevate creative output on the account
- Lead the integration of capabilities and external partners to deliver seamless campaign ecosystem.
- Problem solves on high level account and production issues and knows when to involve Management.
- Builds and maintains top level client relationships; acts as key partner and advisor to clients offering strategies and solutions to address their business challenges.
- Leads monthly client revenue tracking and analyzes revenue impact on account and agency profitability.
- Lead & support the team in delivering projects on timing and budget with greater creative outputs.

- Lead career conversations, to set goals and KPIs for each team member, review progress regularly and support them to achieve
**Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in managing business and/or project teams
- Strong strategic thinking and experience delivering successful integrated communications
- Has experience working on global, regional business is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills required
- Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating and agency profitability
- A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
