**Description of organisation**:
Artistic Strategies Academy is an English writing school that grooms and mentors young writers through the arts (drama, movement, visual arts, clay-making and more). We are the first in Singapore to marry the arts and writing and we have published more than 30 of our students' children's books. Several of our students have also won both international and local writing competitions.
- Able to teach on Saturday morning and afternoon
- Willing to travel to our different locations
- Creative and willing to experiment with different art forms
- Competent in the English language
- Good at interacting with children and/or pre-teens
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes
- Responsible and accountable for the tasks (including administrative) assigned to you
- Receptive to feedback and willing to learn (especially new teaching techniques)
- Committed

**You are not**:

- Inflexible
- Afraid to try new methods of teaching
- Reluctant to instil discipline and classroom management techniques
- Resistant to suggestions on how to improve

You have:

- A degree in the Arts and Humanities or equivalent

Teaching experience is preferred. Training will be provided.

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: From $70.00 per day
