Assistant Director, Marketing

**What the role is**
The Marketing Healthy Lifestyle (MHL) Department spearheads the strategic planning, development and implementation of marketing and media strategies of the Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) flagship campaigns in priority areas of healthy eating and physical activity - in line with the Board’s vision of building a nation of healthy people.
**Responsibilities**
- Performing supervisory role to team members by providing feedback and guidance throughout campaign planning, execution and evaluation to achieve campaign KPIs and organisational impact
- Providing strategic leadership, anchoring the strategy formulation on data and consumer insights, in the development of best-in-class marketing communications to raise the profile of HPB’s initiatives and influence the adoption of good health behaviours
- Managing internal and external stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and clearing roadblocks to drive alignment and partnership in formulating marketing strategies for the promotion and uptake of HPB’s healthy lifestyle programmes and achievement of programme KPIs
- Planning and implementing go-to-market strategies including B2B and through-the-line consumer marketing efforts to achieve desired outcomes and targets
- Managing appointed creative, media, research and other vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality and innovative national campaigns
- Conceptualising and executing social media and content strategies for healthy lifestyle programmes, including community management and crisis communications
- Optimising brand recognition, consumer experience and awareness of marketing initiatives amongst target audiences
- Planning, monitoring and managing campaign budgets and manpower resources to ensure cost effectiveness, fiscal marksmanship and delivery of campaign requirements
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting campaign performance, by providing analytical and strategic assessments for continuous improvement
**Requirements**:
- Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications
- Minimum 8 years of proven track record in managing and executing large-scale, population-level marketing campaigns with hard KPIs;
- Experience in managing a team and multiple stakeholders;
- Strong project and interpersonal management skills with the ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced matrix environment;
- Excellent communications (spoken and written) and presentation skills to interact confidently across the organisation and with external parties;
- Excellent grasp of social media and digital analytics, as well as content, database and performance marketing, including marketing automation;
- Hands-on experience in ensuring seamless and effective UX/UI for website design and mobile app development;
- Ability to analyse complex data to distil insights and make strategic recommendations;
- Familiarity with behavioural insights and nudging, as well as good knowledge and understanding of the public sector would be an added advantage.
