Singapore OCTOMATE STAFFING PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with carriers, co-loaders, or internal teams to secure bookings based on shipment schedules
- Create job files in the system upon receiving new bookings from customers, or liaise with the relevant team to do so
- Verify booking details and promptly share confirmations with customers once files are created.
- Submit Dangerous Goods (DG) declarations and PM4 documents to carriers, co-loaders, or internal compliance teams as required
- Arrange cargo collection or container delivery to/from designated premises
- Monitor vessel schedules and proactively notify customers of any delays or schedule changes
- Source alternative sailing schedules when needed to meet customer timelines
- Manage the full spectrum of sea freight shipping documentation, including permits, Bills of Lading, shipping certificates, Certificates of Origin, and packing lists
- Prepare and arrange payment vouchers according to tender requirements and supplier agreements
- Submit banking documentation upon request and ensure VDP (Vendor Data Processing) is completed for all bulk shipments involving AA DG products
- Provide operational support to team members in cases of absence or high workload
- Proactively address and resolve day-to-day operational issues and customer concerns
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in sea freight operations or shipping logistics is preferred
- Strong sense of initiative, self-discipline, and ability to work independently
- A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
