Business Development Manager - Hydrogen

**Your responsibilities**:

- Hunts and develops new customers to generate growth. Identifies and drives the development of new opportunities and ensures know
- how sharing and cross-collaboration.
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full offering and align to provide a solution. Ensures consistent positive customer experience.
- Implements the Product Group strategy and ensures business development and sales growth globally by maximizing geographic coverage and channel penetration. Focuses on achievement of order intake, EBITA margin %, operating cash flow, Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Prepares offers in coordination with sales support team. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices, delivery time, payments and trading conditions.
- Drive sales efficiency and effectiveness. Supports collection and project management activities when needed. Leads local Logistics to deliver according to customer expectations
- Implements and ensures compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution, shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization. Ensures the accuracy of the financial statement reported.
- Implements customer focused collaboration, raises awareness and ensures appropriate action towards market opportunities in conjunction with other ABB units.
- Be the voice of the customer internally, proactively raise awareness and ensures proper action towards product quality improvement.

**Your background**:

- Minimum 10 years of Engineering industry experience and 8+ years of experience working as sales and/or business development manager
- Experience drives or rectifier technology in the B2B industrial and/or renewable market is highly preferred
- Experience in Business Development, Account Management and cross-selling
- Good understanding of contract negotiations, risk management and commercial and legal term
- Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, an entrepreneurial mindset and a professional, “hands-on” workstyle
- Experience in working in multicultural environment
- Ability to navigate in a dynamically changing environment, flexible with creative thinking.
- Prior experience in a start-up/scale-up environment is a plus
- Fluent English language skills
