We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Functional Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in key projects and initiatives across multiple workstreams. From requirements gathering, solutioning, and design, to functional specification reviews, user acceptance testing (UAT), and live verification, your contributions will be critical to our success. You must have hands-on experience with data querying, data schemas, and data wrangling, with a strong ability to work collaboratively and maintain excellent communication with stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Project Involvement**:Lead and contribute to various phases of the project lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, solutioning, review of functional specifications, user acceptance testing (UAT), and live verification.
**Data Expertise**:Utilize hands-on experience with data querying (SQL) and handling data schemas. Perform data wrangling and ensure accurate data management across all processes.
**Stakeholder Collaboration**: Work closely with multiple workstreams, UX designers, and technical teams to gather business requirements, conceptualize new ideas, design solutions, and evaluate their impacts.
**Requirements Review**:Ensure that business requirements align with design principles and information architecture. Review and challenge technical solutions proposed by tech teams.
**Scrum Participation**:Participate in regular scrum meetings, grooming sessions, and other agile processes to ensure enhancements and deliverables meet business requirements, timelines, and budgets.
**BAU Process Evaluation**:Identify areas for improvement in existing business-as-usual (BAU) processes and propose optimized solutions.
**Risk & Data Familiarity**:Familiarity with risk data, data discovery, and data lineage within systems such as ADA is a plus.
**Documentation**:Maintain high-quality documentation on data flow, design, and process changes, ensuring audit readiness.
**Project Coordination**:Manage tight timelines, multiple deliverables, and limited resources by anticipating issues and ensuring successful and timely delivery.
**Workshops & Collaboration**:Participate in various workshops related to Business Unit (BU) initiatives, contributing valuable insights to drive successful outcomes.
**Additional Responsibilities**:Take on other duties as assigned to support project delivery and team objectives.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
**Education**:Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
**Experience**:3+ years of experience in business analysis, data querying (SQL or similar), data management, and process improvement.
**Technical Skills**:Strong proficiency in SQL and data wrangling. Experience with data schema design, data discovery, and data lineage. Familiarity with risk data is advantageous.
**Agile Methodology**:Experience working in Agile environments, attending scrum meetings, and prioritizing user stories.
**Communication**:Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams.
**Problem Solving**:Ability to evaluate multiple scenarios, identify risks, and propose solutions. Strong attention to detail.
**Documentation**:Skilled in creating and maintaining documentation for audit and project needs.
**Adaptability**:Comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and delivering within tight deadlines.
