We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Business Analyst with expertise in the Data and Finance domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for data-centric and financial systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; 5–7 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A); Business domain knowledge in banking or the financial industry; Experience in data analytics and handling large sets of financial data; Exceptional quantitative, analytical, problem‐solving, and process‐design skills, with the ability to translate analysis into practical solutions that align with business objectives; Knowledge of technology and operational processes across various functions and departments in banking or financial markets; Familiarity with change management processes and basic project‐management principles; Strong leadership capabilities to drive discussions and resolve challenges effectively; Strategic, forward‐thinking problem‐solving with outstanding communication, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills; Passionate, diligent, and resilient, able to thrive in ambiguous environments; Experience in scoping and evaluation, defining considerations such as scalability, maintainability, cost, operations, and potential risks, to provide well‐informed recommendations. Desired Skill Set Work experience in Corporate banking/Financial market domain. Responsibilities Analyze and document the "to be" business and operations processes based on the agreed requirements and/or function points, and perform impact assessment; Liaise with Business Unit Specialists to elicit and review business requirements; Collaborate with IT teams to ensure non‐functional requirements effectively incorporate security requirements; Analyze and define detailed functional and non‐functional requirements based on business requirements; Monitor and manage risks/issues related to requirements and scope; Produce deliverables such as Data mapping specifications and Data Lineage, Business Requirement Document (BRD), Functional Specification Document; Assist in transition of functional and non‐functional requirements to System Analysts, ensuring a complete understanding of the requirements; Write business functional release notes and contribute to deployment plan; Work with Test Manager to translate business requirements into test scenarios; Perform impact assessment and estimation for project and change requests; Manage scope creep and change request.
