DESIGNATION : Executive / Senior Executive (3-year contract), Centre for English Communication
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Course Administration
- Provide support to course administrative and logístical needs, eg. class scheduling, course outlines and setting up of courses on Learning Management System
- Arrange classroom support, administer student submissions and organize course documentations
- Manage the successful administration of CEC workshops - workshop planning, implementation and monitoring
- Ensure speedy action to student queries on academic issues
- Managing Student Coaching and Student involvement programmes
- Support the hiring and selection process of student coaches and teaching assistants.
- Timely processing for payroll
- General Administration
- Assist in the scheduling of interviews in the faculty recruitment exercise
- Assist in recording of minutes during team meetings and provide logístical support for these meetings
- Manage and maintain the department’s Fixed Assets Register and library
- Maintain the department’s maintenance and updates
- Manage office records and supplies
- Attend to Office Reception and General Enquiries
- Perform any ad hoc tasks assigned or support for the department
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma holder with minimum 3 years of working experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a reasonable capacity
- Excellent organizational skills and resourceful
- Able to multi-task Manage interruptions and perform ad-hoc other duties as assigned
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and spoken)
- Strong work ethic as well as a dedicated and positive attitude
- A team player and able to work independently
