DESIGNATION : [Korea Investment Partners] Investment Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source and lead potential investment opportunities based on target investment domains in Asia
- Conduct in-depth due diligence on investment opportunities, including rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis of the team, product, market and financial performance
- Perform consistent market research of the technology startup ecosystem in Asia, identifying key developments
- Negotiation, recommendation and structuring of deal terms with prospective investments
- Prepare investment presentations and relevant documents for review and approval by the Investment Committee
- Ongoing management of existing portfolio companies, including board meetings, value creation, financial reporting and subsequent fundraising rounds
- Support Senior Management in fundraising activities
- Establish relevant valuable relationships with external stakeholders and engage in consistent business development efforts for the firm
- Overall operational support for all funds under management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated interest in technology and finance, with solid business acumen, personal initiative and a team-player mindset
- Minimum 2 years of direct working experience in venture capital or private equity
- Strong skills in financial analysis, research, project management and communication, with attention to detail
- Excellent academic qualifications, with a University Degree at minimum
- Proficiency in English & Korean in order to communicate with native Korean management
