CHI is established mainly to invest in the global transport infrastructure space, ports in particular with its HQ in Singapore Currently CHI’s investment portfolio consists of 20% stake in Lekki Freeport Terminal LFZ Enterprise in Nigeria and 20% stake in JCPDI commercial port in KSA, while executing projects on behalf of CHEC globally including for example LCB Phase 3 Thailand.

In this position you will provide functional leadership for projects development, portfolio management and commercial transactions on the global basis. Supervised by the team leader, the position will be responsible for managing the existing portfolios, identifying potential new projects, developing business cases to support the prospective investments, negotiating the terms of participation in the transport infrastructure sector, ports in particular by CHI and securing the projects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop new investment opportunities through market probing, engagement with potential partners and CCCC offices across the global to the external market through public tenders, direct agreements or acquisitions.
- Screen and evaluate projects. Develop recommendations for attractiveness of investments, proposals for negotiation process and recommendation on business plan and budget.
- Build or review financial models and projections.
- Prepare presentation and reporting materials, manage internal stakeholders, while adhering to established investment approval process and governance, to achieve required internal buy-in and approvals.
- Monitoring and managing the existing portfolio companies.

**Who we are looking for**
- Completed university degree in relevant disciplines including economics, finance and accounting etc. The master’s degree, ACCA or CFA accreditation are major plus.
- Financial modelling skills.
- Performance driven, proactive and results orientated.
- Experience in and understanding of diverse business environments and cultures. Willingness to travel.
- Chinese fluency is a must. Complete fluency in spoken English as well as high-level ability to communicate effectively in written English.
