Our investment professionals are responsible for delivering investment outcomes to our clients. They are enabled by many teams including Front Office Services (FOS), which is responsible for operations and fund manager support.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

This role is part of the FOS team and reports directly to the Head of Front Office Services.

Broadly, the role will be responsible for managing user requirements and the ecosystem maintenance for Eastspring’ s Order Management System, Aladdin. This will require oversight of the end-to-end BlackRock relationship; working with our partners, Aladdin users and other internal stakeholders to manage the strategic partnership with BlackRock and our user requirements, including new feature prioritization, access needs, system and partner governance and oversight.

This is a key role with broad-spanning business exposure as it involves long-term strategic business and system planning for our Aladdin platform on behalf of Eastspring across all its local business units.

Key accountabilities include:

- Governing and maintaining the overall Aladdin requirements, impact analysis, permissioning and BlackRock relationship needs with key stakeholders
- Central point of contact with BlackRock’s relationship managers and senior representatives
- Lead for the Aladdin Support function
- Working with our investment teams, dealing, transitions and other departments in establishing Eastspring’ s longer term system capability requirements and priorities with BlackRock
- Working with heads of investment and dealing to set up parameters for oversighting the Aladdin platform and usage to drive efficiencies and system accountability
- Running periodic reviews of our Aladdin system usage as part of the overall investment lifecycle
- Enabling regular insights and preparing management information on Aladdin usage
- Working with our compliance colleagues to ensure policies and practices adhere to regulatory requirements
- Driving new change initiatives relating to the platform
- Supporting the head of Front Office Services to manage other related projects and investment engagement initiatives pertaining to investment team system needs
- Timely management of queries from our investment teams
- Providing timely management of reports on research commission

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Business related disciplines with at least 5 years of working experience in the Financial industry, preferably in an Asset Management company
- Knowledge and experience of order management and execution systems, preferably Aladdin
- Ability to build strong relationships with external business parties
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent priority and time management skills, with the ability to manage different stakeholders across the firm
- Excellent presentation and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience and knowledge of data analytical tools
