- 15 years of total work experience with 10 years of sustainability experience in global partnerships, corporate programs, and cross-functional collaboration.

- Master’s degree in a relevant field with project management experience.
- Experience with procurement, agreements, and vendor management.
- Multi-country work experience in APAC.
- Advanced knowledge of key sustainability topics (e.g., carbon footprinting, life cycle assessment, sustainability reporting, sustainability data analysis, environmental policy, environmental education/engagement).
- Ability to take initiative with an entrepreneurial drive, and ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.

**About the job**:
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us — and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

The Global Sustainability team enables Google to build a more sustainable future for everyone by driving strategy and solutions. We drive the development and implementation of Google’s global sustainability strategy to further empower action, ensure alignment and prioritization, identify leadership opportunities, and mitigate risks. We drive sustainability strategy and programs on carbon, circular economy, water, product integration, reporting, and employee engagement, while serving as a sustainability leadership advocate internally and externally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage complex regional sustainability programs, identify and implement process improvements, and exercise business and technical understanding to drive long-term regional sustainability objectives.
- Lead engagement on sustainability with APAC based clients and policy makers at the national, and local level.
- Lead engagement and partnerships with relevant industry associations and non-government organizations.
- Be an advocate for sustainability programs to other organizations within Google and serve as a regional spokesperson for sustainability programs internally.
- Provide content and thought leadership in the region that pushes the envelope on sustainability solutions (e.g. publish white papers externally or give tech talks internally).

Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements. See also Google's EEO Policy and EEO is the Law. If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please let us know by completing our Accommodations for Applicants form.
