The Role

The Sr Education Sales Specialist role is directly responsible for generating revenue growth through the sale of AspenTech training services. This a customer facing role that requires self-motivated individuals with excellent business, and sales knowledge. The Sr Education Sales Specialist will use consultative skills to position AspenTech University offerings with our customers and to grow our business. The Sr Education Sales Specialist will manage training service opportunities maximizing revenue growth and deepening our relationships with customers.

Your Impact
- Lead and drive APAC training revenue growth to exceed the quarterly revenue and booking targets
- Work aggressively to develop a training sales pipeline and close opportunities into wins
- Develop and maintain training account plans for key customers who can benefit from training programs
- Respond to customer requests and prepare proposals for selling private training classes
- Assist with the back-office contracting processes associated with private training sales
- Collaborate with the Sales organization where necessary to address customer issues and opportunities
- Timely capture of accurate and complete information in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Maintain accurate data and statuses for all Training Proposal, Class and Student Registration records
- Manage day to day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and coordinate sales support resources
- Prepare weekly accurate forecasts and customer outreach activity reports
- Prepare period reports for senior management (account plans, account status and sales forecasts)
- Work as a team member on sales efforts involving global account opportunities
- Collaborate with cross function teams to expeditiously handle customer training leads and inquiries
- Provide high quality customer service to external and internal customers
- Participate in other CS&T projects and assignments as required

What You'll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred - Marketing, Business or Engineering
- Experience in a customer facing role in a fast-paced high-tech environment
- Demonstrated success in direct sales of training solutions or other services for a software company
- Ability to understand customer's business objectives and develop an end to end competency development curriculum for skill development
- Proficient at establishing and cultivating consultative customer relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Additional language skills such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean is an added advantage.
- Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision
- Excellent planning, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen, analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge and experience in the process industry a plus
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, CRM and back office tools used in training sales and customer service
