**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain relationship with and Japanese Companies and Japanese Governmental Agencies in APAC.
- Conduct marketing, origination and execution of project finance transactions in APAC.
- Liaise and co-work with relavant departments and SMBC group members to obtain internal approvals including credit / ESG / reputational risk perspectives
- Strategic planning for business development of structured finance area in APAC.
- Support ad-hoc works for some senior staffs at the same department.
- Share knowledge to team members and motivate others to maximize the outcome of the team

**Job Requirements**
- Over 7 years of banking sector experiences and at least 5 year experience in structured fiance and/or project finance transactions.
- Experience and knowledge in project finance and Japanese ECAs/DFIs.
- Fluent in spoken and written Japanese is desirable as this role needs to discuss with Japanese government agencies/clients and make presentation in Japanese.
- Deep sector knowledges of infrastructure and power.
- Professional level of MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint,and the analysis and analysis of financial model.
- University graduate with strong academic background
- A team player but also independent and self-motivated
- Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise, manage and meet expectations/deadlines with strong work ethics, integrity and commitment
- Knowledge of Japanese Banking Law and banking regulations
