Group Financial Controller (Listed Semiconductor)

Our client is a listed semiconductor MNC with Singapore as its Global HQ. They are currently seeking a high caliber Group Financial Controller to be part of their Finance Leadership team.

Reporting to the Group CFO, this role will lead and manage the output of all finance activities at the group level.

SOME OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Managing global financial close process, ensuring weekly, monthly and year end closing process are done accurately and timely.
- Oversee and manage the consolidation process, financial analysis, tax, audit, budgeting and cashflow related activities at the group level.
- Prepare and present monthly performance review to the board including analysis and other ad-hoc reporting required
- Drive and coordinate all key treasury processes including cashflow planning and forecasting by establishing treasury frameworks, monitoring, and improving efficiency in cash management.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary, local tax, and government authorities where required.
- Identify financial risks and improvement opportunities and recommend suitable solutions to management.
- Continuously structure, standardize and optimize financial processes and controls for the business
- Ad-hoc projects to support strategic business decisions and efficiency improvements.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with CA/ACCA/CPA qualifications preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Finance or Accounting with at least 6 years of Big 4 Audit Experience and 6 years of senior finance position with an MNC.
- Semiconductor and Electronic Manufacturing industries experience will be highly preferred.
- Demonstrate critical/strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written & verbal communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
