**What you will be working on**
- Responsibilities
In this role, reporting to the Team Lead of Data Strategy & Governance, you will be a key contributor responsible for developing the Data Hub’s analytics capabilities, managing data projects and building a data driven culture in the organisation. The scope of work includes:

- Work with internal and external stakeholders, such as public service counterparts and industry partners, to implement SportSG’s data strategy.
- Engage business units to identify data use cases, analysis requirements and provide technical guidance on data-related matters.
- Develop and manage data projects for sense-making and to sharpen planning and design within SportSG.
- Develop and manage data projects with industry partners to enable capability development and content development in Sport Data Exchange Singapore (SportDexSG).
- Design, develop and manage visualisation dashboards using data analytics tools and manage the Data Portal.
- Support the team in translating data governance, data management policies and data insights into actionable guidelines, roles and responsibilities for buy-in and adoption across the organisation.
- Establish platforms and forums to communicate data transformation initiatives across the organisation.

This individual should be a champion for organizational transformation through data and ideally be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.

- Background in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related disciplines. Graduates of other disciplines with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in digital and data transformation/ strategy, data analysis and project management in corporate functions such as planning, research, communications, or marketing
- Familiarity with the suite of government analytics tools, and those of Government Commercial Cloud will be an advantage.
- A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage a diverse range of stakeholders confidently and effectively.
- Proactive, results-oriented and attentive to detail.
- Proficient in visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Amazon QuickSight) and statistical programming tools (e.g. R, Python).
- Believes in the power of sports to transform lives. Enjoys sports.
