You will be part of HPB’s Healthy Food and Dining Division which aims to make healthier dining choices as integral part of Singaporeans’ lives. Through our programmes, such as the Healthier Choice Symbol (HCS) Programme, the Healthier Dining Programme (HDP), Eat, Drink, Shop Healthy (EDSH) or nutrition education and outreach efforts, we enable Singaporeans make healthier dining choices easily, regardless of whether they choose to dine in or out.
The Healthy Food & Dining (HFD) division is to design, develop and implement multiple-prong food strategies so as to:
- Create a supportive environment to make healthier food and drinks option pervasive and accessible by working with food manufacturers, retailers and F&B partners to increase the supply and adoption of healthier choice products, healthier food and beverages across all eat-in / eat-out settings through sustainable health promotion policy and programs such as Healthier Ingredients & Development Scheme (HIDS), Healthier Choice Symbol (HCS), Healthier Dining Program (HDP), Healthier Meals School Program (HMSP) as well as;
- Change Singaporean’s eating habits through public education campaigns, large scale and regular promotions and engagements through offline to online channels such as Eat Drink Shop Healthy Challenge; to reduce Singapore’s burden of obesity.
**Responsibilities**:
You will also lead board-wide or divisional business efficiency improvement projects (e.g. tender and contract management) and assist with corporate and division planning. To be effective, you need to be a dynamic team player. Together with other team members, you are also expected to drive key projects and initiatives. You must possess strong relational and project management skills, be able to influence and effect change, garner resources, and manage people and projects independently.
**Job Requirements**:
- Basic degree qualification in Dietetics, Food Nutrition, Food Science or any related discipline
- Possess at least 3 - 5 years of working experience in project management and implementation roles, with a proven ability to translate nutrition knowledge into programmes / business designs; 6 - 8 years of working experience for Senior Manager position
- Effective communication (verbal and written), presentation and negotiation skills, and distil complex concepts and information
