**Director, Application Development**

As the Technical Lead within our analytics projects, you will be working closely with the Product Owner and team of Developers, Data Engineers andAnalysts to identify technical and visualization challenges to deliver new innovative solutions.

You will be able to take and understand business scenarios to translate into technical requirements between data engineering and developer teams and follow through to completion. As we work to challenge our business and clients with further complex analytics you will also be able to develop and deliver solutions that collect, transform, analyze data and articulate findings into a presentable story according to visualization best practices.

Established in 2012, there are over 150 colleagues in Singapore’s Centre today including actuaries, software developers, data scientists, financial analysts and accountants. **What the day will look like**
- Design innovative approaches to ingest, view and interact with data for analysis
- Develop and test functional designs for BI, data discovery and analytics solutions
- Use your technical experiences to ensure functional requirements are met
- Work with the Product Owner to gather requirements. Leverage functional and analytical expertise to design a solution to address on-going problems.
- Present analytic findings and opportunities for improvement to senior management and summarize key findings, and aid in the dissemination of metrics throughout the organization

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- 5+ years of analytics experience preferably in Financial Services (Banking/Insurance). Significant experience in managing analytics delivery
- Experience with Health and Benefits broking
- Bachelor or Master degree with good honours or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or Engineering or equivalent
- Certified Professional in Tableau Desktop. Experience with SQL and ETL tooling such as Alteryx is an advantage
- Has development experience with C# and the.net framework
- Experience in and able to design analytical dashboards that are intuitive and business focused
- Strong functional and analytic skills to identify potential business problems and translate business requirements into tactical analytical requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users, stakeholders and technical resources
- Experience in resolving complex data issues in creative and effective ways. High self-motivation for success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
