**Job Description Summary**: The Chief Digital Officer provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the HC Digital business across the AKA region. This includes full profit & loss responsibility for the Enterprise Digital Solutions business within the region, activation of new digital product segments offerings such as Edison & Command Centre, and horizontal ownership for integration of digital products into the core HCS portfolio. The position will overall responsibility for developing GE’s vision and strategy for digital technology leadership throughout the region, and the GM HCD will establish themselves as a thought leader for digital transformation in healthcare. This role will report directly to the President & CEO, GEHC AKA Region.

**Key responsibilities/essential functions include (but not limited to)**:
- Direct P&L responsibility for Enterprise Digital Solutions (EDS) business across the AKA region, including both equipment & service.
- Responsibility for activation of new HC Digital products and solutions including Edison Platform/Solution offerings, Command Centre etc. including collaboration with AI partners.
- Development of SaaS/Subscription based offerings, and associated changes in business model required to be able to activate these type of solutions; overcome internal barriers to acceptance across GE commercial, service & functional teams
- Close partnership with Finance and HFS teams to develop capital partners that can support subscription & SaaS offerings
- Establish a holistic vision and strategy for sales, implementation and service, delivering profitable growth, competitive advantage and customer satisfaction for our customers across the AKA Region. This includes ASEAN, Korea, and Australia & New Zealand.
- Manage and achieve key business financial performance indicators such as orders, revenue,
- margin, cash, base/variable costs, customer satisfaction and balance sheet; provide senior support in closing strategic deals and managing customer escalations.
- Represent HC Digital externally (with customers, government, institutions, professional associations, trade & industry councils) as well as internally; develop partnership collaborations with external developers & research institution and create/leverage influential networks to build brand equity and develop opportunities
- Drive analysis of competition and market activities and effectively utilize market intelligence to gain competitive advantage and grow share.
- Influence the product strategy and investment in new products and solutions to meet the needs of the market.
- Attract and retain key talent. Build and sustain a mature and well-trained team, experienced and excellent in execution. Provide coaching to help grow and strengthen individual and team execution skills.
- Build a collaborative environment, which values focus, accountability for results and teamwork to the overall benefit of customers.
**Qualifications/Requirements**:
- Extensive years of progressive business leadership experience in Commercial and Professional Services in an IT environment with demonstrated customer solutions mindset
- Leading larger teams and Senior Managers
- Experience in managing a large, multi-functional P&L, preferably in the Healthcare industry
- Ability to create a vision and to translate it into strategy and action.
- Proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate.
- Strong business acumen and management experience. Including the ability to effectively direct the business’ overall operations in order to maximize revenues and profit.
- Ability to inspire a business culture that is centered on growth, development of best practices, continuous improvement, and success.
- Demonstrated ability in managing the matrix structure and building effective networks.
- Establish and maintain positive work relationships with peers, management, and customers displaying willingness to understand diverse points of views.
- Willingness and ability to travel within your specified geographic region
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- MS/MBA or global equivalent preferred.
- Experience across multiple functional areas such as sales, marketing, product development, implementation, service.
- Experience in the high-tech, software, informatics or information-services sector.
- Knowledge of the Healthcare/IT Industry and the ability to translate that knowledge into a business strategy that ensures business success.
