[What the role is]
This role involves the engagement and evaluation of domestic and international financial institutions (FIs) as potential partners of the Enterprise Financing Scheme (EFS) and the review of their performances. It also involves review and enhancement of current schemes / tools, based on market conditions and gaps identified.
[What you will be working on]
1. Engage financial domestic and international FIs as potential partners of the EFS. Conduct thorough due diligence on the FIs based on multiple sources of information and evaluate their suitability to be onboarded as Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs) for EFS.
2. Collaborate with the team to onboard these FIs after the FIs are approved to be PFIs. Conduct regular review on the PFIs’ performances to ensure the EFS is used effectively.
3. Review and enhance the current tools supporting enterprise debt financing administered by Enterprise Singapore. If needed, to develop & operationalise new ones to address emerging market gaps.
[What we are looking for]
1. University degree in Business, Economics or Finance.
2. At least 3-4 years of relevant work experiences with the financial industry, such as banks, multilateral development banks, export credit agencies and other financial institutions, particularly in the areas of credit assessment, risk control and other relevant fields. Experiences in insurance underwriting would be a plus.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
Applicants will also be evaluated on their experience and interest to contribute to the public sector in an enterprise development role. You must be comfortable with writing up memos, policy papers and developing cohesive presentation slides.
