**Job Title: R&D Director**

**Job Scopes**:

- Lead the entire game development lifecycle from concept to release, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, artists, QA) to ensure alignment with the game's vision and technical requirements‌.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, external partners (e.g., publishers, outsourcing studios), and stakeholders to maintain clear communication and resolve conflicts‌.
- Handle repeated game iterations, playtesting for bugs, glitches, and performance issues, ensures that the game runs smoothly on various mobile devices.
- Maintain project documentation and implement agile methodologies for efficient workflow‌.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and optimize production pipelines‌.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Game Design, Computer Science or relevant
- Prior successful experience in leading a team of game developers, artists and designers to conceptualise and launch successful & profitable mobile games, from 0 to 1
- Proven track record of developing and implementing game design documents, technical specifications, and project timelines.
- Strong understanding of player psychology, game mechanics, and user experience principles to deliver engaging and innovative gameplay.
- Passionate and possess the ability to stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inspire team innovation and creativity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform design decisions and improve game performance post-launch.
- Familiarity with monetization strategies and understanding of market dynamics to guide the development of profitable games.
