As a **Product Owner, Data **you'd be able to work on and solve some of the many interesting challenges we are facing, learn new ways of working, and build delightful high quality products for our customers.

Reporting to the Head of Data & Insights, you will lead a multidisciplinary team as part of a broader portfolio to design, develop and deliver one of our key product or service propositions. You are a digital native with a natural intuition for design and technology, coupled with a strategic mindset. You are familiar with the agile practices and working in sprints with data scientists and data engineers to write business stories to deliver data use cases. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high degrees of ambiguity, get excited by solving complex problems and are happy to roll your sleeves up and get things done.

**The Role Responsibility**:

- Lead a multidisciplinary team from project inception to scoping, design, concept testing and delivery.
- Act as the product owner to define and manage the product backlog, prioritising feature releases in line with the broader roadmap.
- Be the voice of the customer in the definition of your product/service, and collaborate with other product owners to converge on a broader coherent proposition.
- Provide insights into product, technology and market trends, pre-empting imminent disruptions and identifying opportunities for acceleration.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to define an ambitious strategy, develop and maintain a product and data backlog.
- Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing.
- Support your lead with developing and monitoring budgets for project delivery.
- Assist in developing the economic model, business plan and operating model for your proposition.
- Design, monitor and report on product KPIs.
- Facilitate the build and testing of operational processes, systems and reporting capabilities.
- 7+ years of digital industry experience and/or product/service development.
- 3+ years of Product Ownership experience in a Tech startup or in Financial services with a Retail Banking focus.
- A bachelor's degree in a technical or design discipline.
- An MBA or other advanced degree (preferred)
- Strong understanding of these:

- Mobile/web technologies
- Data science product delivery requirements / Data workflow
- Data architecture know-hows and ETL jobs to be done
- A strong customer focus and a natural inclination to let empirical research define and inform product/service priorities.
- Hands on experience with agile development methodologies.
- An ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
- The ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication.
