**SENIOR MANAGER/ MANAGER, COMMUNICATIONS, OUTREACH AND MARKETING**

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**

Supports the communications, outreach and marketing division in the following areas:

- Plan, develop and implement the University’s marketing communications strategy to raise the profile and brand awareness of the University and strengthen its position as a leading arts tertiary education institution in the region. This will include working with the vendors to initiate and produce the full spectrum of online and offline materials, including but not limited to recruitment campaigns, collateral, digital and content marketing and institutional events marketing.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to project manage marketing campaigns and ensure that all materials are developed at an appropriate timeline.
- Coordinate with members of the University, as needed, for joint marketing activities, as well as to align on marketing plans and activities as well as communications strategy and brand messaging.
- Work closely with the members of the University to identify, develop and produce content for various platforms, including the University’s corporate website, and social media as well as various news media.
- Write and develop communications material, including but not limited to media releases, social media content and answering media queries.
- Handle and coordinate all communication enquiries in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

This is an individual contributor role that reports to Deputy Director/ Assistant Director, Communications and Engagement.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience in marketing communications in a large organisation or public relations (PR) consultancy. Sound knowledge of collateral production practices.
- Prior experience in project management, including website development and search engine optimisation (SEO), would be a bonus.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, quantitative as well as written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work well independently as well as in teams within tight timelines.
- Resourceful, keen eye for detail, a good sense of perspective and intellectual curiosity.
- Strong interest in developments in higher education and the arts.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, action-focused, and willing to explore new ideas.
