**Division Overview**

We broker deals for the huge vessels that carry crude or petroleum products across the world. As truly global brokers, we handle more deep-sea business than any other company. Our experienced teams have long-standing and close working relationships with all the major owners and charterers.

**Role Summary**

**What you will be doing**
- Prepare presentations and deliver them to key clients
- Actively engage with the brokers and our clients
- Be proactive and remain ahead of events and issues that will impact trade flows
- Provide information to the brokers so that they can quickly bring meaningful information to clients on an accurate and timely basis for them to make best decisions
- Produce reports with market commentary and analysis
- Produce and maintain a key database
- Identify and analyse shipping market trends and economic data to inform the brokers of the market outlook
- Provide general assistance with a variety of ad-hoc analytical requests
- Continually look at ways to improve our internal systems, data collection and the delivery of our analysis
- Additional ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

**What we are looking for**
- Market analysis experience within the shipping industry
- Experience in the Tankers arena
- Strong IT skills, proficient in using MS office products (including MS excel, powerpoint and word).
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills.
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to analyse large amounts of data quickly and accurately
- Demonstrable analytical and report development abilities
- Logical thinker with a genuine interest and resourcefulness to understand what information is important then disseminate this information to the relevant audience(s)
- Able to take complex data and themes and translate this into easily understood analysis for the relevant audience(s)
- Previous experience in providing data driven business insights
- Extensive experience in delivering presentations to clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Well organised and able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Adaptable to changing priorities
- Proactive, positive and flexible approach to work
- Strong team player who is able to build strong working relationships with all of the brokers
- Culturally sensitive and able to work well with a multi-cultural team
