**The Opportunity**

The Data Analyst (PowerBI)position is a part of the Global IT Department, which is directly overseen by the Group’s CIO. Our team currently comprises of over 40 IT, software, and data professionals primarily based in Shanghai and Moerdijk (the Netherlands). With our IT presence in Singapore rapidly expanding, we are excited to invite you to join our team

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to user requests to modify our existing PowerBI resources (~10 workspaces, ~30 semantic models, ~100 dashboards); create new PowerBI resources when necessary
- Respond to other user requests outside of PowerBI by using SQL queries to directly interact with our data warehouse
- Regularly audit data quality and security on both our PowerBI and data warehouse environments (Azure stack)
- Understand recurrent business requirements, able to help data engineers refine data mart designs based on real user expectations; make suggestions to the data team as a whole about how to service the organization better
- Promote a culture of organizational learning by facilitating knowledge sharing and implementing best practices in documentation by ensuring that business requests, and any resulting data products, are well documented.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years SQL experience
- 2+ years PowerBI experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field
- Professional fluency in both written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage to effectively liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts.

**Desirable Qualities**:

- Previous work experience related to with B2B ERP/TMS systems
- Previous work experience related to container shipping, freight forwarding, or maritime logistics
