"Role Sneak Peek" This position offers an excellent platform for launching your career in finance, providing you with valuable hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development. **"Responsibilities"** - Financial Management: Assist in the day-to-day financial operations, including preparation of financial reports and statements. - Compliance: Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. - Audit Support: Assist in the coordination and preparation of financial audits, providing necessary documentation and support. - ERP Utilization: Leverage ERP software, such as Oracle NetSuite, to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency. - Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve issues. - Documentation: Help maintain financial records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date. - Ad-hoc: Participate in ad-hoc financial projects as required. **"The Essential Qualities"** To excel in this role, you should possess: - Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Professional Certification: Minimum ACCA certification is required. - Finance Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting, including experience with ERP software (e.g. Oracle NetSuite). - Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in financial data and reporting. - Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations. - Team Player: Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams. - Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing financial regulations and industry best practices. - Problem Solving: Proactive in identifying and resolving financial issues. - Ethical Conduct: Maintain the highest ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial information. - Time Management: Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. **"Valuable Additions"** - While not required, the following qualifications and experiences would be valuable additions: - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. - Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements. - Experience with financial modeling and forecasting. - Strong presentation skills for reporting to senior management.
