**Responsibilities**:

- Provide purchasing support activities, which include services, materials and equipment sourcing during project proposals as well as project execution stage, to achieve competitive pricing and improving profitability.
- Ensure timely delivery of purchases and services
- Formulate and drive commodities sourcing strategies to meet manufacturing needs and business objectives.
- Select, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers/contractors on the commodity contractual agreements and the Terms and Conditions
- Contractual agreements management: Minimizing internal risks by putting in-place agreements with higher spend suppliers
- Deliver yearly savings against goals
- Sourcing and identifying new suppliers and continuous suppliers-base rationalizations and maintain an Approved Vendor Listing
- Payment terms management and review
- Commodities include Capital Equipment and Operations Support Services purchases, IT hardware, software and licenses, Equipment spares, jigs and fixtures, industrial printers, functional testers
- Operations Support Services include review and put-up contracts for service providers in areas of IT and financial support, real estate site services support like transport, catering, facilities and janitorial, maintenance of equipment (IT equipment like servers, production equipment), events staging like grand opening, anniversary celebrations, logistics support like freight forwarders, distribution houses field returns, repair-works from sub-contractors, marketing in areas of advertising, airlines negotiations, etc

**Requirements**:

- Possess Diploma or equivalent level of certification
- Min 3 years of purchasing experience
- Experience in negotiation with suppliers, sourcing new suppliers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently towards achieving company objectives
- An understanding of purchase order software platforms preferred
