**Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing, negotiating, and buying of materials, and services to meet the company’s operational requirement, considering prices, quality, and delivery and ensuring continuity of supply.
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations. Act as an interface between suppliers and relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and market suppliers provide analysis on costs, new and existing, and review cost reduction activities.
- Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements. To ensure appropriate inventory always to meet our production needs.
- Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers, and review opportunities to make business savings and procurement best practice tools and methods. Ensure to obtain the most competitive prices offer from approved suppliers and to document all offers on price comparison.
- Prepare and raise Purchase orders. Build, maintain and manage suppliers’ relationships and keep up good communication.
- Contact suppliers to resolve quality, prices, delivery, and or invoice issues as and when required.
- Assess and evaluate supplier performance reviews, compiling data to facilitate evaluations of supplier performance. Aim to acquire the best possible deal on materials/suppliers by sourcing alternative materials/suppliers.
- To audit supplier supply capability and quality standards when required. Maintain proper documentation in accordance with ISO procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain/Business Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement function and or Supply Chain management
- Familiar with the full functions of the procurement process
- Work independently and solve problems analytically with good communication skills
