Marketing Analyst (Singapore)

Our client is a large technology company - their marketing team in collaboration with our team is focused on driving business growth across key platforms and ecosystems by making strategic marketing investments based on user insights.

We are looking for an analyst that will utilise their technical expertise and business acumen to develop analyses, provide valuable insights, and make recommendations for investment decisions. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams (Business Development, Finance, Sales, Product) are essential for success in this role. This position requires exceptional multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a creative approach to solving major challenges. An interest in marketing and marketing analytics would be advantageous for excelling in this role.

Role:

- Analyse the effectiveness of marketing investments, and derive insights from data trends and media reports to develop high-impact recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency for campaign measurement.
- Develop and maintain tools, dashboards, and data infrastructure to provide visibility on key marketing and business performance, data insights to inform in-market strategies
- Coordinate growth marketing efforts, working closely with our cross-functional counterparts to program manage the execution of direct response growth marketing plans on owned and operated user communication channels.

You:

- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 4-7 years of experience as a data scientist within an analytical environment, including but not exclusively: business analytics, quantitative marketing, financial planning and analysis,

management consulting, or investment banking.
- Technical proficiency in Excel/GoogleSheet, querying & maintaining databases (SQL), analysing data (R/Python),
- Strong written communication skills in synthesising data insights, creating reports/ dashboards, and communicating findings.
- Ability to derive data-driven business insights and to effectively communicate actionable

recommendations.
- Experience in running growth marketing campaigns on owned and operated channels
- Experience in project management, planning, tracking, and reporting on complex programs
- Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.
