Our client is a highly experienced and specialist Developer and Fund Manager working with institutional Capital Partners seeking exposure to the Urban Industrial Real Estate sector. They specialise in the transformation of underutilised industrial assets near major urban centres across the Asia Pacific.

**Associate - Investment**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Underwrite investment opportunities in real estate in key APAC markets (specific focus on Australia and New Zealand), including quantitative and qualitative due diligence (financial, tax and legal, etc).
- Work with senior members of the team in the overall execution of investment opportunities.
- Prepare investment briefing materials, and attend and participate in investment committee meetings.
- Write formal business correspondences, reports, and presentations.
- Facilitate meetings and site visits with current and prospective stakeholders.
- Conduct various tasks related to investment monitoring, market research, asset management and fundraising.
- Ability to enter and negotiate/finalise commercial negotiations.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities to optimise outcomes, and know when to escalate to the management.
- Ability to see and communicate 'the bigger picture' and new business opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Senior Analyst/Associate level experience with leading real estate investment manager, investment bank, real estate developer/operator. Transaction execution experience is a must.
- Exposure to Australia and Industrial/ Logistics would be a big plus but is not essential.
- Excellent numerical and real estate underwriting skills. Thorough knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, and Excel (independent real estate modelling skills and pitch deck making a must) with a high level of attention to detail.
- Be proactive, demonstrate initiative and ability to think independently.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), and strong desire to learn and succeed.
- Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and complexity.
