**Hyster-Yale Asia Pacific **is looking for a **Senior Learning and Development Specialist, APIC **to join the team at their Singapore office in Tuas. The Regional L&D Specialist will take a comprehensive approach in achieving learning solutions to build critical skills and expertise within the organization and supports the achievement of strategic business initiatives by leading and managing local, divisional, and/or regional learning projects for both salaried and hourly employees across APIC. This position partners with operational and functional leadership, Human Resources, and other stakeholders serving as a business partner, trainer, coach and performance consultant assessing learning and non-learning needs, identifies learning gaps, builds & deploys strategic learning solutions, and applies meaningful measurement plans.

**The key areas of responsibility will include:
**Team Leader/ Performance Consulting**
- Collaborate with and serve as expert consultant and Team Lead to other location Learning and Development Specialists on the design, development, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs and materials which lead to performance improvement and close knowledge or performance gaps.

**Instructional Design and Development**:

- Builds curriculum and other learning interventions to onboard new employees, solve key performance gaps or better position HYG for the future. Creates content outlines, storyboards, instructor-led and virtual course material, facilitator guides, and supporting resource documents.
- Standardizes, simplifies, and improves efficiencies and effectiveness of learning. Provides input into the development of and applies consistent approaches for training and development needs assessment, training content development, utilization of identified tools (content development, learning management, etc.) for best-in-class solutions, tracking and maintaining budgets, and benchmarking against KPIs.
- Manage vendors to ensure outsourced projects meet the organization's objectives, are completed on-time and within budget. Acting as a liaison with vendors, developing selection and performance criteria for providers, providing ongoing assessment of services and giving feedback, ensuring quality control for services and continued process improvement and partnership. May include researching vendors and negotiating contracts.

**Implementation, Facilitation, and Measurement**:

- Facilitates training for both in-person and virtual training. Utilizes technology to boost the transfer of knowledge for blended learning environments.
- Leads program/course design, implementation, and facilitation of key learning and development programs and classes. This can include user testing / pilots, change management, facilitation, and communications.
- Obtains measurable results to support the decision-making process regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of learning courses and programs, using both qualitative and quantitative methods to demonstrate the value, manage, and improve offerings.
- Ensures that all training is tracked and maintained in HROne Learning.

**The Senior Learning and Development Specialist, APIC will suit someone who has**:

- A good degree in a related discipline
- More than 5 years of progressive learning and development experience delivering services to salaried and hourly employees
- Previous training creation and facilitation experience
- Certification in recognized leadership development programs such as Franklin Covey, Ken Blanchard, DDI etc.
- Experience with Workday Learning or other Learning Management Systems
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Other software skills a plus (MS Teams, WebEx, SharePoint Designer, Illustrator, lnDesign, Photoshop, Articulate Storyline).

This is a new role that is required in APIC to support the overall growth and development plans. The role will lead, coordinate, and facilitate learning and development activity across all of APIC.
