Supply Chain Management

**[What the role is:]**

Plan and oversee the entire supply chain management for NLB including material processing operations, logistics operations, repositories and warehousing operations and management, so that the library and archives materials are properly handled, stored, retrieved and delivered within expected service levels. This is in line with NLB’s mission to preserve the nation’s literary heritage and records, and to provide access to information and learning resources.

**[What you will be working on:]**
- Drive the overall supply chain management for all NLB library and archival materials in meeting NLB’s outcomes and deliverables.
- As part of the division management team, to work on the strategic roadmap for the division, in line with NLB’s vision, mission and goals.
- Oversee and ensure operational efficiency and strong governance for the material management, repository management and warehouse management departments.
- Ensure financial accountability and effective budget planning and utilization.
- Lead the departments in complex procurement planning to achieve the best outcomes for critical business operations in the public libraries.
- Oversee contract and vendor management.
- Develop holistic plans to support new library initiatives such as nodes and delivery services of various models.
- Drive large-scale innovative projects, especially in automation and robotic areas, to improve processes, optimise resources and efficiency.
- Develop and manage middle managers and staff. Support change management and drive team synergies.

- At least 8 years of experience in supply chain management or related functions, including 5 years in managing teams.
- Experience in project management
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong team player with excellent networking skills
- Meticulous, analytical thinking to solve problems quickly and effectively.
