Supply Chain Senior Executive

Job Description:

  • Work with logistics operations stakeholders to address logistics quality issues (eg: shipment exceptions, damages, loss, etc)

  • Conduct meetings with logistics service providers (LSP) and stakeholders on reported quality issues

  • Ensure LSP provide a timely and comprehensive investigation report
  • Ensure permanent corrective measures proposed are feasible and accepted by stakeholders

  • Analyze common trends and provide recommendations to stakeholders

  • Conduct monthly on-time performance calls with LSPs and global stakeholders

  • Query LSPs on performance gaps

  • Enhancement requests (operations and systems)

  • Gather requirements from operations stakeholders to work with Business Solution team on system enhancements

  • Data management

  • Handle complex and multiple datasets which require manual intervention

  • Design data template for analysis and reporting
  • Prepare data reports for quarter end reporting

  • Back up to host quarter end calls with global stakeholders

  • Project management

  • Lead group meetings for projects

  • Facilitate discussions
  • Get buy-in and alignment from stakeholders for action points, timeline and ownership
  • Ensure timelines and targets are met

Requirements:

  • Min 5 years work experience in similar capacity

  • Air freight operations support or freight cost experience

  • Able to work full day on 1 Saturday every 3 months (qtr end closing)

  • Able to articulate professionally in emails, meetings, calls, etc

  • Confident hosting meetings with 3PL warehouse, freight providers and global stakeholders

  • Matured, independent, responsible, resourceful and fast learner with a sense of urgency

  • Meticulous and details oriented

Good to have:

  • Diploma/Degree in related field

  • Knowledge of SAP system (Candidate with no SAP knowledge is expected to learn on the job to be able to meet the work requirements)

  • Able to start work within short notice

  • 1 year contract, renewable and with possibility of conversion to permanent

  • Working location: Changi Business Park, with hybrid work option

  • Working hours: 8:30am-5:30pm Mon-Fri
