Role Overview:
Reporting to Head of HR Advisory, you will manage the HR Operations/Shared Services function in the region as well as support business partnering and other HR processes. Your primary focus will be on end to end employee information management (ie. in Workday and p-files) and in supporting the regional HR team. This is a fixed term contract role to cover a team member who is going on Maternity Leave.
Role Responsibilities:
- Proactively support APAC HR to continually drive process and efficiency improvements in HR processes
- Oversee implementation and governance of HR policies, practices and initiatives across APAC, including updating/maintenance of employee handbook and guidelines
- HR Business Partnering for some functions
- HR Reporting & Analytic - Prepare regular reports for business which include headcount reports, HR Key Risk indicator reports, government surveys etc.
- Ensure efficient and robust processes capturing staff and contract information into HR system
- Oversee all work pass related matters
- Assist Head of HR Advisory, APAC, in risk management for APAC HR
- Support compensation & benefit team with review exercises
- Leave administration support for HR Partners for APAC centres
- Maintain updated organisation charts for various businesses
- Work with Finance to verify monthly payroll files
- Lead or support global/regional HR projects as assigned
- HRIS administration for Singapore legal entities as well as smaller regional centres
Experience / Competencies:
- 5 - 9 years of experience in a HR generalist/operations role.
- Experience in providing strategic, tactical and operational advice/support to mid to senior management
- Relevant experience in HRIS (Workday) would be advantageous.
- Familiar with local manpower laws / regulations to ensure statutory compliance/obligations
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage middle to senior leaders as well as employees across different functions/business units/cultures
- Good project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Ability to converse in other Asian languages would be an advantage but not a must. This is for communicating with the other regional centres in APAC
