Singapore Building and Construction Authority Full time

You are part of the Finance team responsible for preparing BCA’s financial statements and management reports, with focus on BCA’s Trust and Agency Funds. You will report to a Senior Manager.

Your responsibilities include:
General Ledger
- Closing of monthly accounts and financial analysis of BCA’s activities.
- Maintaining audit schedules.
- Review and approve journal entries and maintain recurring journals
- Review monthly bank reconciliations.
- Preparing financial reports to Senior Management and BCA Audit Committee.
- Liaising with internal and external auditors.

Trust and Agency Funds
- Co-ordinate with departments for submission of reports to funding agencies.
- Review disbursement schedules to ensure compliance and completeness.
- Perform reconciliation between fund reports and general ledger, including maintaining monthly schedules for respective funds.
- Advise on grant governance matters.

Other Duties
- Participating in finance transformation projects.
- Any other duties as and when they are assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Accounting degree or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- At least 3 years relevant work experience, preferably with a Professional Accounting firm.
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively as a team.
- Those familiar with Workday accounting software will have an added advantage.
