**What you will be working on**
- This role seeks to build a vibrant local leagues/competitions calendar that will allow people of varying age groups and abilities to compete regularly, well supported by the sport industry partners, gaining the interests from public and corporate partners.
You will:

- Analyse the ecosystem to understand the gaps and the needs of various sports, level of competition and age group
- Plan the format of ActiveSG Leagues & Competitions suitable for the required ages and abilities
- Evaluate all existing local competitive events and provide recommendations for efficient resource deployment
- Plan an annual calendar filled with wide range of competitive events to look out for
- Improve relationships with NSAs to explore opportunities to enhance their events organisations capabilities
- Rally and gain support from grassroot communities to enable nationwide participation
- Seek discussion platforms with various industry partners to creatively enhance their current offerings
- Drive interest from corporate partners to support/ sponsor local competitive events
- Plan and budget for the execution of ActiveSG Leagues & Competitions
- Work with internal stakeholders and appointed service providers to successfully execute the identified events
- Identify the risks involved and implement the suitable safety protocols accordingly

**What we are looking for**
- We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.

- At least 4 - 8 years of work experience within the following setting(s):
a) Schools and involved in Sport CCA
b) Sport academies or clubs
c) Sport service provider
d) Events management
- Proven experience in customer relationship management, Government policy planning and processes
- High level of self-motivation to achieve targets
- Excellence in multi-tasking
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to nurture relationships and influence
- Strong team player, positive and can-do spirit
