The trainee will report directly to Mr. Mar Vin Foo and perform duties on managing clients' requests and requirements in relation to technology, business, and/or corporate matters.
S/he liaise with vendors and suppliers for quotations to prepare and propose solutions with pricing. The trainee should also
obtain approvals from the manager where necessary prior to submission of proposals or bids.
He/she need to carry out duties that will improve organisation's reputation and credibility as a trusted advisor for certain solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
Individual to be involved in:
1. Understanding and recognising the client’s requirements and business objective. Providing technical support to customers and offering solutions wherever possible.
2. Helping develop a plan of action, e.g., time scale and resources required
3. Managing IT initiatives and collaborating with the in-house technical staff
4. Providing strategic advice to your client on how to utilise technology in achieving their goals
5. Assisting when technical issues occur
6. Suggesting improvements and revision of the existing systems
7. Training users with the new and existing IT systems
8. Ensuring the right architecture and functionality of the IT system designs and networks
9. Repairing computer problems and removing viruses
10. Marketing and promoting the company’s portfolio of products by writing and designing sales brochures, collaterals and through attending trade events and conferences.
