**Description**:
**The Role**
At WTW, we are committed to helping clients turn risk into opportunity through innovative, data-driven solutions. As the Trade Credit Growth Leader for APAC, you will play a key role in expanding our client base by attracting new clients and driving business growth through upselling into our existing client base. You will also help to attract talent to the APAC trade credit team to drive and support that growth. In addition, we expect the APAC Growth Leader to support global initiatives and help build our franchise with Multinational clients and with Trade Finance opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth Leadership: You will lead the development and execution of growth strategies for clients across APAC. Your focus will be driving new business opportunities and expanding WTW’s franchise within the geography, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
- Sales Leadership & Client Engagement: Take ownership of APAC sales initiatives, managing the sales pipeline from lead generation to deal closure, mentoring and developing younger staff members in sales and client management. You will work closely with local and regional FS teams and with the WTW retail teams to support client acquisition and renewals, ensuring that we deliver tailored, high-quality solutions to clients.
- Cross-Selling & Business Integration: Identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities across WTW’s broader offerings, including Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) and Health, Wealth & Career (HWC). Develop common sales approaches and ensure integrated client solutions are being offered to maximize revenue potential within the WTW client book.
- Talent acquisition: You will play a key role in attracting talent to join the APAC Trade Credit team to support and enhance growth opportunities.
- Reporting to Lee Garvey, Head of Financial Solutions APAC, and matrix line to Pieter Van Ede, global head of Trade Credit.
**Qualifications**:
**The Requirements**
- Extensive experience in trade credit, trade finance, or a related financial services role, with a proven track record in managing prospects through the sales cycle and driving sales growth across regions.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex client relationships, cross-selling, and business development.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect with colleagues and clients and work effectively in a matrix environment.
- Ability to attract talent to join the WTW APAC Trade Credit team to support and drive growth.
- Experience working across business lines to develop integrated solutions and drive new revenue opportunities.
- Familiarity with regions outside of APAC would be an advantage.
