**About Toll Group**

**The Role**

Reporting to the Manager Group Planning and Performance, the Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in the coordination and preparation of periodic financial planning and performance activities performed at a Toll Group level, inclusive of Management Reporting. The role is involved in ensuring periodic Group planning and reporting activities are completed in the timeframes agreed with Japan Post and provide maximum actionable insight.

Toll is on a transformation journey and one of the purposes of the role is to adjust financial planning and performance activities to meet the needs of the new enterprise structure, whilst still delivering greater insights to Toll’s Global Leadership Team (“GLT”). The Senior Business Analyst will also play a role in identifying opportunities and executing continuous improvement of our Financial Reporting platform.

**Financial Planning and Reporting**
- Produce monthly Group level management reporting to a Group executive level audience
- Produce high-quality executive level presentations on reporting outcomes and insights on trading performance results
- Support Group level end-to-end planning processes including budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial projections and Key Performance Indicators (“KPI”)
- Develop and manage advanced reporting models and analysis for use by reporting managers including standard KPI and metric calculations
- Help investigate and support ad-hoc business queries from management and Japan Post
- Lead ad-hoc analysis and modelling for specific Group-level projects

**Continuous Improvement**

Review and assess FP&A processes and assist in developing standardised, automated, and integrated forecasting and budgeting processes and methodology that will leverage ERP functionality, with a focus on forecasting accuracy, shortened cycle times, and continuous improvement
- Assist reporting efficiency and automation within Group Finance and be a Transformation Champion
- Standardise, streamline and transform key financial reports

**SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB**

**Technical**

(Doing skills - job-related knowledge, policies, procedures, techniques.)
- FP&A and / or business partnering experience in a large corporate environment - ERP experience looked on favourably
- Exposure to finance transformation activities, in particular automation of key financial reports
- Ability to critically assess financial information and contextualise insights
- Project Management and Continuous Improvement skills
- Advanced planning and budgeting skills including demonstrable experience in driving innovation and efficiency in planning and budgeting processes
- Working knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards

- Ability to influence key stakeholders to achieve desirable outcomes through financial analysis and insight.
- High level of commercial acumen and the ability to communicate and liaise persuasively with financial and non-financial stakeholders, verbally and through high quality communications and presentations

- Ability to monitor and analyse Revenue and EBIT performance
- Proficiency developing and reviewing high quality reporting including management presentations, reporting packages, and KPI analysis
- Ability to quickly understand and interpret value drivers in a diverse operating model
- Experience in developing robust data led assumptions in a systemised FP&A environment
