**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We represent a multinational investments company seeking a
**Senior Business Controller **based in Singapore for their
**manufacturing / supply chain **business. This strategic role provides an international platform and exposure. The company seeks experienced individuals who are eager to make an impact, with relevant and solid experience in the tyre manufacturing sector.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Engage the commercial sales to formulate sales and pricing strategies, develop business models, track business performance, identify process weaknesses and propose resolutions to help the company reach its goals.
- Collaborate with supply chain in logistics and supply chain management, including the review of replenishment plans to factories and transfer price management
- Improve the cost effectiveness (including ocean freight, inbound/outbound freight, warehousing and handling charges) and process efficiencies in deploying available logistic and supply chain resources to achieve desired results in line with business model
- Monitor inventory movements review inventory aging reports, highlight aged/slow moving inventory and coordinate actions plans with commercial team.
- Responsible for monthly rolling forecast and other related management reports in coordination with overseas sales entities to support FP&A in the monthly group reporting and analysis
- Prepare and analyse monthly Group SBU and entity PL.
- Provide actual vs budget overview of sales performance and associated selling & general administrative expenses including freight, logistics, advertising and promotion, joint promotion and other selling expenses.
- Proactively and timely reporting to senior management to identify areas of deficiencies and seek solutions and activate action plans.
- Lead the SBU in business planning and management, annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and other routine/ad hoc reporting.
- Assist senior management in financial simulations, business modelling, mergers and acquisitions, IT initiatives and any other additional responsibilities as assigned.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor/Masters in Finance or Accounting or its equivalent
- At least 10 years experience in **Supply Chain **and** Tyre industry **is preferred
- **Highly skilled **and **specialised in Pricing & Controlling** as well as **Contract Management **(Commercial Contracts with customers) experience.
- Ability to analyze financial data and possess business acumen. Driven by commercial objectives.
- The ability to take a hands-on approach to solving problems, strong business acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in business analytics and reporting (BAR) will be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- A reliable source of financial information that can be kept confidential.
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Open and comfortable with frequent business travel to the USA.
