**Overview**
- Ensure all financial control activities of CL SEA market and Singapore regional office and the dedicated countries are adequately and appropriately taken care of
- Ensure all external parties - accounting/book keeping agency, auditors, banks, etc are properly managed who will then deliver the desired level of service to CL APAC
- Support CFO on all financial matters as and when required for the responsible markets.

**Responsibilities**

**1. **Financial reporting**
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements to complete monthly reporting package
- Month end close reconciliation (vs. budget and last year), Cash reconciliation and Capex reporting
- Expense budget control and control of stock and provisions
- Ad-hoc analysis of specific area (i.e. Logistic, prices, stock)

**1. **Budget and annual business plan**
- Financial projection and business development plan (3 year plan)
- Full preparation of annual budget and revision process and analysis
- Control and support operational teams to build plans to deliver objectives
- Annual Capex requirement/funding
- Annual Cash management and profit distribution

**2. **Sales, Purchase and inventory control**
- Monthly sales reporting and reconciliation
- Management of OTB budget and inventory control with operations team
- Management of inventory provisions and destructions
- Control and support regional stock transfer and follow up of seasonal products vs budget and carryover items
- Build balance scorecard including financial and operational KPIs

**3. **Operational financial control**
- Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met including Withholding Payments, Income Tax, etc.
- Control spending of multifunctional departments
- New store and refurbishment feasibility study and lease renewal analysis
- Manage relationship with banks and establish strong relationship between SEA regions

**4. **Stewardship**
- Develop, implement, and ensure comply with group guidance
- Manage accounting and payments for CL SEA and control process for all team
- Control contract and legal completion of operations
- Prepare supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board's Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash
