**Job Position**:Engineering Assistant / Coordinator, EHS

**Department**:Facilities

**Primary Job Purpose**:
Assist Aptiv in complying and meeting all regulatory requirements by MOM, Workplace Safety and Health Act. To manage and conduct trainings, education and campaign for promoting EHS awareness. Familiar with Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Safe work procedure, Root Cause Analysis and others. To improve and sustain Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety standard for the company To coordinate with government bodies and other parties on matters relating to EHS. To track and monitor health and safety performance, notify non-conformances and implement corrective action and meet the EHS Management System (ISO14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 system) requirement. Appointed Member of WSH Committee. Conduct/Schedule EHS site audit / inspection. Advice Aptiv project coordinator in managing of contractors, ensure all activities are in compliance with the company’s EHS policies, regulatory requirement before and during the work in progress. Investigate incident and recommend corrective and preventive measures. To execute and carry out ad-hoc orders from management and supervisor.

**Job Requirements**:
Diploma in Environment, Health & Safety/Environmental Engineering or other related Engineering discipline Must have at least one years practical experience in a manufacturing environment Good understanding on managing contractors in term of EHS.
