Company and Job Overview This is a global technology company that provides customized photonic solutions for various industries, including life sciences, advanced industrial, etc. Job Description: Experienced in managing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, including the development and maintenance of operational control elements and alignment of existing and new procedures. Ensure that all facilities and equipment are operated in full compliance with safety regulations and relevant legal requirements. Ensure continuous corporate compliance by maintaining the company's local, licensed, and permit registers. Maintain relevant licenses, submit reports to regulatory bodies, and support various projects for broader issues such as REACH, RoHS, and Conflict Minerals. Develop, implement, and manage safety, health, and safety policies and procedures for each laser design. Accountable for the review of laser audit programs. Provide guidance in evaluating laser-related safety incidents and determining corrective actions. Manage site hazardous substances and maintain the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) database with relevant stakeholders. Enhance the site's safety culture by supporting the development of more effective employee occupational health awareness programs, including initiatives to promote employee well‐being. Manage emergency health events to ensure timely updates and sustained effectiveness by the responsible PICs (Persons in Charge). Manage training plans, identify training needs, and deliver EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) training sessions. Maintain a comprehensive risk management program, including regular reviews of risk assessments, machine safeguarding, Management of Change (MOC), SgSecure, and business continuity. Follow up on issues raised during monthly EHS committee meetings and inspections. Conduct incident investigations and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) reporting, including coordination with impacted departments for timely closure of corrective actions. Assist the Facilities & Equipment Maintenance team in reviewing contractors' risk assessments and ensuring proper implementation of contractor safety management requirements. Lead or co‐lead improvement and transformational projects, such as expansions, re‐layouts, or the installation of new equipment. Prepare Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for energy, water, and waste management across sites. Support waste minimization, recycling, and prevention efforts. Perform information substantiation for ministries, local authorities, customers, and others when needed. Provide comprehensive support and safety requirements to business units and projects, including those related to Radiation/Laser, Pressure Vessels & Machinery (PV&M), and Hazardous Substances. Job Qualifications: Degree or Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health. More than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong knowledge of local regulations, Codes of Practice, and regulatory requirements. Registered WSHO (MOM) and FSM (SCDF); Certified Industrial Hygienist Officer. Certified ISO 14001/ISO 45001 Lead Auditor and Hazardous Substance Management certification preferred. Experienced in liaison with contractors and inspectors. Certified in CERT (Company Emergency Response Team) management. Experienced in Laser Safety License application and registration. Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross‐functional departments.
