Program Manager, Strategic Scheduling Operations

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience managing portfolio or program construction projects, evaluating project schedule health, and supporting global construction clients
- Experience with developing Scheduling Program Controls processes, and training/implementations within Capital Expenditure programs

Preferred qualifications:

- Master's degree with a technical emphasis
- Experience with change management with the ability to successfully manage complexity and multiple priorities with outstanding influencing skills
- Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization with experience leading cross-functional process improvements and holding project leads accountable to greater project goals
- Ability to shift between direct detailed analysis and big picture thinking and customizing communication based on the audience
- Problem solver with excellent verbal/written communication and facilitation skills

Google Data Centers (GDC) make up one of the largest and most powerful computing infrastructures on the planet. The GDC Program Controls team provide project teams with cost, schedule, process, information control expertise, and user based reporting systems to support the optimal delivery and operation of capital assets. As a GDC Strategic Schedule Operations Program Manager, you'll have responsibility for supporting the Project Delivery schedule operations processes and strategic program initiatives. The role will liaise with GDC teams, in developing, implementing, training, and monitoring adherence to schedule processes and best practices. The role is also responsible for developing a systematic process for implementing scheduling tools globally to drive business initiatives. The role supports the Project Delivery Stakeholders, Project Controls Group Delivery scheduling team and Strategic Scheduling Operations with processes, program schedule development, and organization structure.

- Liaise with Google Distribution Center teams, General Contractor’s, and vendors globally to ensure effective standardization and implementation of scheduling operations processes.
- Build solid relationships with stakeholders and collaborate on the development of strategies which help support their business.
- Identify opportunities for more efficient processes. Collaborate with teams across the globe to speed up innovation
- Manage robust scheduling operations and best practices governance.
